Could You Help Us to Help Others?

As a new football club dedicated to getting more girls into the game, we’re delighted at the level of interest we’ve had in these first few months. While we are excited to add new teams to our club as quickly as possible, training coaches and finding facilities to support such rapid growth is always a challenge.

Stevenage Starlets FC is a club built on strong values, so as well as being involved in our local community we want to do all we can to raise money for charities close to our hearts. So far our club has raised over £1,500 for Breast Cancer Care, with activities including The Relay Run and the sale of ribbon pins.

Whilst we collect annual fees from all of our players, this only covers basic costs. In order that we can give even more girls the opportunity to experience the many benefits of playing football, we are therefore actively working to find other forms of income, whilst also continuing to support Breast Cancer Care.

Could you donate a prize for our raffle?

As part of these fundraising efforts, we are going to hold a Grand Prize Draw, where half of the profits will be used to help the Starlets with the ongoing costs of growing our club, and the other half will be donated to Breast Cancer Care.

We are therefore looking for help in the form of raffle prizes. Any donation would be gratefully received and will benefit this amazing charity whilst also raising much needed funds to support us in creating new teams.

Our aim is to begin selling tickets in September (as the new football season starts), with the draw to be made in mid-December, so if you are able to provide a product or service that we could give away we really would appreciate it.
