Starlets FC Raise Over £1,000 for Charity

We are incredibly proud of our Starlets FC family today after players, siblings and parents took part in a sponsored run, raising over £1,000 for charity.

Despite sweltering hot conditions they did a great job pounding out the laps of Hampson Park in a special event organised by the Relay Run.

Fundraising target smashed

Having recently confirmed Breast Cancer Care as our nominated charity, we kicked off our fundraising efforts in style, smashing our target for the day of £500.

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the race, as well as those who came along to support the runners and of course all those who sponsored their efforts.

We’re a club that believes strongly in helping others and look forward to raising even more money to support the work of this fantastic charity over the coming year.

Breast Cancer Care is our chosen charity

Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide support charity helping the thousands of people who wake up to the harsh reality of breast cancer every day.

Their specialist nurses, local services and emotional support network mean whenever someone needs information, support or just want to hear a caring voice, they’re there to listen and respond.
