Stars Come Out for Our First League Match

Having started this club from scratch just five short months ago, we were incredibly excited to get our first ever league campaign underway today.

This is a massive milestone in our club's history and an exceptionally proud moment for everyone involved in getting us to this point. However it's not just our volunteers, parents and players that have been looking forward to us getting started.

In the build up to the game we received some very special messages of support from a few friends we've made along the way.

It's fair to say we've been truly humbled by all the love coming our way this week. Whether it's from celebrities like Russell Brand or Olly Murs, stars of the women's game, or other local teams - every bit of support means so much to us.

So we'd like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone who has wished us well, as well as to all those that have helped us along the way.

We would also like to thank our hosts today, Bishop's Stortford Community FC, who made us feel very welcome and gave us an excellent game. It was extra special for us to begin our journey at the largest grassroots club in the country.

We are so very proud of our little club. We have come so far already and yet this is only the beginning. We look forward to many more days like this.
